“Thank you for the lovely event space and all the help!”
How did you meet & how did he propose?:
We met back in high school through a mutual friend and would only see each other in passing. It wasn’t until after we graduated and I came back from my Army training when we began to hang out. As we began to hang out more and more I decided to treat Jacky to a fun weekend trip with some friends to Sedona for her birthday. Once we came back in town I couldn’t help but ask her out, fast forward two years and I was prepared to ask her to be my wife! For our anniversary I took her on a hot air balloon ride and very sneakily played it off to where she was convinced I was not going to propose. Until I did! It was beautiful and our balloon pilot was awesome to work with, he even got a video of it!
How did you like the venue?:
We were very happy with the venue and help of the crew to make sure our vendors and family were able to make it in and everything was set up. It was very nice to be able to set the wedding up whichever way we wanted without feeling pressure.
What was the theme/color scheme?:
We chose a mostly white color scheme with some greenery, golds and pinks. We had three glass hurricanes with floating candle and a eucalyptus wreath around them and a few smaller gold electric tea cup candles. Our table numbers were custom made by my sister @ourfamilydesigns along with our beautiful welcome sign and bar signs!
What piece of advice would you give other brides planning their big day?:
I would suggest to other brides planning their big day to have plans for eating the morning of the wedding. We had croissant sandwiches ready in the fridge and it was really helpful to not have to go out and grab food while everyone was busy getting ready!
