Cassandra and William

Real Wedding at Antique Wedding House.

1. How did you two meet or what was the proposal like?: We met in true Arizona fashion, at a pool party. Our love of dancing brought us together and the dancing continued for years to come. Bill took Cassie on a trip almost 4 years later to Hawaii and popped the big question. We did many adventurous excursions like waterfall hiking and zip lining. Cassie couldn’t get herself to take the ring off during the adventures, despite the risk. The rest of the trip was spent eating, drinking, and basking in love.

2. Were you happy with the venue/location?: We were so incredibly pleased with the Antique Wedding House. We knew from the moment we walked in that we were going to get married there. There is such a unique charm about the place that immediately resonated with our style. Michele is so warm, she treats you as if you’re her own family getting married. The process was so smooth and stress free, which we hear is not the norm for planning a wedding. If we could do it all over again, we wouldn’t have changed a thing. Antique Wedding House completely exceeded our expectations and the expectations of our guests.

3. Describe the theme or color scheme of your wedding, and what you chose for your table setting at the reception: Cassie spends a lot of time antique shopping, so it was a no brainer to continue the antique theme. We added a bit of a boho vibe with lots of greenery as well. Cassie found an antique address book to use as a guest book and antique candle sticks and vases were used throughout. A special decoration was created with a very old piece of wood from her grandfather’s old barn and a rusted cut out of a bride and groom.  The bridesmaids wore a dusty blue dress which was complimented with gray, white, and green throughout the decor. Eucalyptus leaves were sprinkled around a simple lantern with a candle inside as centerpieces. They were beautiful as the sun went down and the candles glowed.

4. What piece of advice would you give other couples planning their big day? As you go about the planning process and the days come nearer and nearer, remind yourself that even if some things don’t go as planned, the day is going to beyond perfect because the love you have for each other will be the center of your attention. Don’t stress the little things, your day will be amazing!
