Danielle and Wu met through Danielle’s sister in 2006. Wu told Danielle’s sister that he liked her, and would one day be her boyfriend. Danielle’s sister would laugh and brush it off, saying “Yeah, right. She has a boyfriend and is not interested.” Fast forward nearly four years later, in the summer of 2010, Danielle and Wu ran into each other on a night out and exchanged phone numbers. They kept in touch for about a year and finally went on their first date in February 2011 at Stingray Sushi. The date was totally relaxed because they had already spoken so much over the phone and knew so much about each other over the years. On the day Wu proposed, it was Valentine’s Day of 2015. They had just gotten home from lunch and Danielle was changing into different clothes. When she turned around, Wu was on his knee and Danielle was shaking because she was so surprised! Immediately, she started crying and called her sister to tell her the news. Danielle still gets butterflies thinking about it all. The couple was engaged for almost two years before getting married. Their wedding was held at Clayton on the Park in Scottsdale with a theme of modern elegance. The colors included black, gold, and a hint of blush --perfect for a winter wedding! Danielle and Wu were very pleased with the venue and their photographer. Taryn, from Love My Life Photography, who met with Danielle and Wu and immediately made them feel comfortable with her fun and down-to-earth personality. The couple was very happy to have fun, authentic photography from their special day.
