Phenomenal Restaurant

WOW.. I'm not sure if I can properly describe how phenomenal this restaurant is!! From the gorgeous architecture/decor of the massive space, outstanding service from Anthony, and exceptional Italian food, I'd say Fat Ox quickly became a top 3 restaurant in Scottsdale for me.Let's begin with how stunning the restaurant is. It's open concept with glass walls and a large bar for happy hour diners is as welcoming as can be. It's unique and simply stunning as it spans from a large indoor area to the back patio seating, with ample heaters to keep you warm in winter. Our server Anthony was attentive, kind, and extremely knowledgeable of the menu and broke down each dish for us. He continuously checked up on us and made everything was at the highest standard! We were greeted with complimentary bread and veal meatballs that were both so tasty. Next we had three pastas, all very different from one another yet delicious in their own ways! My personal favorite was the Grano Arso Mafaldine for the extra long, thick noodles coated in the most delectable sauce. The Garganelli was also divine with thin prosciutto on top of a unique pasta shape. Now you can NOT skip the Butterscotch Budino dessert, oh my god it was one of the best desserts I've ever had!!! It's beautifully layered and the flavors explode. Once you get to the toffee at the bottom, you'll never forget this dessert. I can't rave about this restaurant enough! Thank you again to the server Anthony and manager Bryan for making sure we had a phenomenal experience. Please come visit and enjoy it for yourself!!
