Venue Styles From Waterfronts to Gardens and Everything In-between!

What if we think a little outside the box when it comes to a wedding venue? Some fabulous places can become your unique place to have a wedding. There are wineries or vineyards, museums and gardens, beachfront or waterfront, yes even in Arizona! Arizona venue styles range from intimate weddings at a bed and breakfast or a large gathering on a rooftop overlooking the city lights. You can have it as native as you want, or be globally inspired by food and festivities.

Banquet Hall

Some banquet halls remind us of European halls of the past, with high ceilings, stone walls, and chandeliers galore. Arizona’s temperatures allow for all seasons to have an outdoor wedding. What better way to ensure that you can treat your guests properly than to have a venue that has indoor and outdoor venues?

Beachfront or Waterfront

Even though Arizona does not have an oceanfront property within the state, there are still beaches and waterfront properties on lakes and reservoirs.

One of the most beautiful photographic venues is in Gilbert, Val Vista Lakes Events. Their lush vegetation, waterfalls, beach lagoons, and twenty-foot-tall waterfall will showcase your everlasting love.

If you want both mountains and water in your pictures, then The McCormick Scottsdale is your ticket. This beautiful hotel has resort-like settings, is on the shores of Camelback Lake, and overlooks the Camelback Mountains.

Bed & Breakfast Venues

Imagine an intimate space for your small wedding, with your closest friends and family. You can find a private home, or you could go to a bed and breakfast, where you know everyone can have a comfy bed at the end of the night.

Typically B&Bs, as they are called, have no more than 15 bedrooms, are often located in a restored house, and have beautiful grounds. Often you can find fabulous home cooked meals using garden to table fresh ingredients that likely can be prepared specially for your wedding. Bed and Breakfast venues in Arizona can bring that special “local touch you’re looking for.

Wineries and Vineyards

While there are over 110 wineries in Arizona, and over a hundred breweries, not all of them host weddings. Some of the best ones we found are in Sedona and the surrounding areas of Verde Valley, Arizona.

A wedding at a winery will depend on what the surrounding neighborhood allows. So make sure the winery holds events during the selective times you want for your wedding.

When a winery has contacts to Bed and Breakfasts in the area, or they have onsite lodging, this might marry the best of all worlds. Sedona has some very fine wineries, and when you add in and the backdrops of red rocks, purple grapes, and lush greenery, it just may make it the perfect place to say I do!

Country Club

Maybe both of you want to play a round of golf before or after you get married. Our first suggestion is at Grayhawk Golf Club where there are 36 holes for your golfing pleasure. Add exquisite cuisine and professional service for a charming wedding in Scottsdale.

The second venue is perfect for all aspects of your wedding, including the rehearsal dinners and morning brunches. Golf, tennis, and swimming for the active members of the wedding party makes your wedding weekend special. You can find all this and more at Stonecreek Golf Club. The best bonus is they are right next door to a suite hotel, where you can find accommodations for your guests!

Globally Inspired

A globally-inspired wedding might have a particular country in mind or help you design your own.

The Tucson region of Italy provides the primary inspiration for Villa Siena. This venues Piazzas Toscana is reminiscent of the town square in Siena Italy, and provides a beautiful setting for a lovely outdoor wedding reception.

The Ritz-Carlton at Dove Mountain in Marana, near Tucson, AZ is a five-star resort surrounded by a naturally romantic desert: colorful sunsets marked by the silhouettes of towering saguaro, colorful wildflowers and vast, starry night skies. Here couples can exchange vows in a remote mountain venue before returning for a reception in an elegant ballroom. The resort can customize your menu to reflect your specific tastes. The experience is navigated by the resort’s wedding advisor, whose passion lies in creating intimate and destination weddings as well as Indian and other cultural celebrations that can accommodate up to 850 guests.

Museums and Galleries

For an amazing experience into the art world, Andaz is your canvas in the desert. This resort was created with artists in mind. Their site map (resort map) uses the colors of the Pantone wheel, ”the universal language that has guided designers for decades.”

The Mountain Shadows Resort has a rotating art gallery where modern exhibits are shown. You can meet the artists and learn when the next exhibit is coming to the resort.

Rooftop

This rooftop venue at Hotel Valley Ho really delivers the cool hip vibe! Modern Romance is on full display at this icon of the 1950s modernism in Downtown Scottsdale. The hotels Panoramic Sky Line Rooftop atop the seven-story tower elevates you into views of Camelback Mountain and starry nights as your exchange your vows. Wow!
