Stars in Your Eyes at JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa – Tucson Arizona Weddings

Spotlight! – JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa

The first feature that will capture your imagination when you visit JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa is its breathtaking setting. Nestled at the base of the Tucson Mountains and surrounded by the 20,000-acre Tucson Mountain Park, the resort delivers spectacular desert and mountain views at every turn. Yet despite its blissfully secluded setting, the resort is only a quick, 20-minute drive from the airport and just 12 minutes away from downtown Tucson’s thriving cultural and culinary scene.

Designed in an old pueblo style, this unique destination resort reflects the influences of three distinct cultures—Native American, Hispanic and Cowboy—in its architectural details. For your indoor events, choose either the Tucson or Arizona Ballroom featuring large windows that look out onto the stunning landscape. If you’re planning an outdoor ceremony or reception, you have a choice of three lawns—Meecha, Tash and Ania—as well as the Ania Terrace. Another option, Starr Circle, provides a blank slate that you, your wedding planner and florist can totally personalize to make your wedding vision come to life. Views of the sunset and city lights add to the magic.

Your guests will find plenty to do at this luxury resort. There’s a multi-level pool with a lazy river, 27 holes of Arnold Palmer-designed golf, the Hashani Spa and a high-tech fitness center, in addition to over 60 miles of hiking and biking trails in Tucson Mountain Park. The resort also offers three daily rituals your guests won’t want to miss. At sunrise, they can participate in “Mitakuye Oyasin,” a Native American ritual, to greet the new day. Guests can also take a daily 30-minute guided hike through the desert. In the evening, they can take part in a tequila ritual and drink a special toast as they learn the legend of Mexican revolutionary general Pancho Villa and how a tequila-drinking contest helped him win the hand of his true love. All three rituals are complimentary to guests.

One of the resort’s certified wedding planners will carefully listen to your dreams and turn them into reality by helping you choose your ceremony and reception sites, customizing your catering, assisting with accommodations and more. Before you know it, you and your guests will be dancing the night away in a beautiful ballroom or under a blanket of stars in the desert sky.
