Our Chef
Charles Wiley enjoys a career that spans more than 40 years. During this time, Wiley has earned national acclaim for his innovative cuisine and natural presentations. His signature cooking style takes advantage of local, seasonal ingredients,and time-honored flavor marriages; dishes which tend to be light, yet intensely flavored and robust.

Incredible Mountain Views!

Sat on the patio with an incredible mountain view and was served by Chris and Riley. They were excellent! Let us have our space but it seemed we always had exactly what we needed! Gave great advice on food and wine. The bass, pork chop and pinot noir were phenomenal! We would recommend Heart 61 to anyone!

What a pleasant surprise!

What a pleasant surprise! We stayed at the Mountain Shadows resort for three nights, and we usually dine at the resort restaurants only on the arrival night, none so far merited the return visit. Not so with Hearth 61! Our meal on first night was great, the staff was attentive, especially Rafael, the "assistant waiter" as he introduced himself. The grilled bread with pesto was delicious, the prawn ceviche was perfect, the Yankee Pot Roast was fork-tender. We returned again, on another night, had different dishes, and again, everything was tasty. We had breakfast on all three mornings and everything was great too. Gorgeous views, too!

Breathtaking View

We sat on the patio for Mother’s Day brunch and it was lovely! The view of the mountain was breathtaking, the server was attentive and friendly and the food was super yummy. My kids loved the hazelnut waffles! Well, definitely go back!
