The Passion
Cooking is my passion.   Being a lover of delicious food, discovering that I had so many food allergies was quite a blow.  Many of the things I enjoyed eating were suddenly eliminated from my diet.  In my quest to find decadent, delicious, and yet wholesome food, I embarked on a journey to recreate Gluten free and allergy friendly versions of my favorites.  In my journey, I created some new gluten free desserts!   I'm now inviting you to enjoy my creations...

Best Gluten-free Wedding cake in Arizona!

My fiancé and I did a wedding cake tasting at Avec Amoore. We have several wedding guests who are gluten-free and it is important to us to find a delicious and inclusive option. Before the tasting Shari' reached out to discuss the flavors that we were interested in. She offered suggestions and expert advice on additional dairy-free and vegan flavors. She advised us to bring inspiration for our cake decoration design to our tasting. The tasting consisted of 3 cake and frosting flavors of our choosing, which were presented as individual cupcakes (three for me and three for my fiancé). She walked us through each cupcake, and had us rate and discuss each one to choose our favorite flavor combination. The set up of the tasting felt like a mini celebration with plastic champagne flutes for sparkling water to cleanse our palates between flavors. The cupcakes were also in handy to-go boxes to enjoy later as we didn't finish them in one sitting. These were some of the best gluten-free cakes that I have ever had! They do not have the grainy/mealy texture that you tend to get from gluten-free baked goods. These cakes are handmade with love and you can taste it! Shari' herself is very kind and responsive. You can tell she is passionate and loves what she does. We are excited to share her cake with our guests at our wedding!

Delicious Cake for my Wedding

I'm so glad I found Shari! I reached out to so many bakeries asking if they could do gluten-free, sugar-free, and vegan for my wedding. Shari was the only one who said yes! She made mini-cakes that were so delicious and decorated them to match my theme perfectly. I do not get to eat baked sweets very often because of my dietary restrictions due to digestive issues. I am so glad I was able to eat such a delicious cake for my wedding! I will be going back to Avec Amoore every time I need a bakery.
