Haley and Chris met on a snowboarding trip with a group of mutual friends. They did not start dating right away, but became friends over the next 6 months before deciding to make things official. They are both very active people and love being outdoors. They have a Great Dane named Steven and an English Mastiff named Mable. On a hiking trip with the dogs, Chris proposed to Haley on top of a mountain. Haley was so excited she ended up grabbing the ring and putting it on herself! There was an unfortunate insect sting incident later on during the hike, but that did not take away from the magic of the day!
The couple could not have been happier with their choice in venue. The Paseo made for the perfect backdrop, with stunning mountain views and gorgeous desert scenery. Decorations consisted of romantic greenery with rose gold and blush accents. Tables were covered in greenery with blush roses and blush tablecloth. Each table had its own wooden table number with candles. Haley's advice to other brides: don't take the wedding planning too seriously. At the end of the day the only thing that matters if that your groom and your officiant show up because that's all it really takes to get married! The rest is just icing on the cake!
