Venue Vibes Part 2

Venue Vibes Part 2

This week we are talking all about Unique & Different Venues. Maybe you’re a “think outside of the box” kind of couple so you’re looking for a venue that’s really unique.  Then we have some suggestions on some fun venues around Arizona!

Well, if you love music (and who doesn’t?), they’re playing your song at the Musical Instrument Museum (also know as MIM) in North Phoenix. It has more than 6,500 musical instruments and artifacts from around the world on display, and its indoor and outdoor event spaces are as varied as its music. MIM even has the piano that John Lennon played as he composed “Imagine” along with other fun eye candy like artifacts from Taylor Swift’s career and a rare Ibanez electric guitar owned by Maroon 5’s Adam Levine. Now that will get your guests talking (or singing)!

How about getting married at a historic Virginia mill that dates back to 1842? Yes, you can do that in Arizona. The owners of Shenandoah Mill relocated this vintage structure to Gilbert and surrounded it with enchanting gardens and a beautiful arbor to create a picture-perfect setting for weddings.

If you’re an Arizona State University alum (and even if you’re not), consider Old Main at ASU at Arizona State University’s campus in Tempe. It’s listed on the National Register of Historic Places and offers elegant ballrooms and a picturesque lawn for weddings.

And if you dream of a waterfront wedding, Val Vista Lakes in Gilbert just might make a splash with you. It’s a water wonderland complete with multiple lakes, a sandy beach lagoon, romantic waterfalls and tropical greenery.
