How did you meet?
We met through a mutual friend. She introduced us and we hit off right away. We both knew we wanted to be together for a long time. We talked about our goals, our future and how many children we wanted. It was a strange thing not knowing each other that long, but we just knew.
Tell us about your venue.
The backdrop at the first tee at Redstone Patio and Grilleat Oak Creek Country Club in Sedona was amazing and really sealed the deal. I loved the Catering Manager. She was very insightful and thoughtful.
Describe the theme or color scheme of your wedding, and what you chose for your table setting at the reception.
We both love the outdoors and camping so knew we wanted to get married outside. Sedona was perfect for our theme of a woodsy rustic wedding which included burlap with hues of champagnes and pinks. My husband Scott built our cake stand, all the wood slices for the centerpieces and the wood slice coasters for our wedding favors.
One thing you learned?
Hire a wedding coordinator. I didn't want to spend the extra money and I wish I had. It would have relieved the stress for me and so many others had I done that. Seems silly now in the scheme of things to not want to spend the extra money after all the time and preparation spent to make it perfect.
